This schedule pertains to most of our Arenacross events. However, the schedule is subject to change and it is your responsibility to stay informed on race day. We may adjust times up or down according to racer turnout and it is imperative that racers check in periodically with at the "Registration Office", where signs will be posted if any adjustments are made to the schedule.
HERE'S THE SCOOP:
We will hold a pre-registration on Friday, November 14th, 2008 at the Holiday Inn Express in downtown Albany. We will hold it from
6-8 p.m. Please try to make it to this pre-registration which will not only save you money ($10 per class) and time in line on Saturday, but will give you an opportunity to pick up some informational paper-work . Since this is our first time in Albany, it is important that all racers read the rules and regulations information, as well as the printed "Riders Meeting" sheet. Knowledge of our format and basic policies, will help all racers enjoy a smooth, efficient, safe and really fun day of racing.
ON SATURDAY:
Gates and Registration will open @ 9:00 a.m.
Amateur Practice @ 10:30 a.m.
Amateur Heat Races @ 1:30 p.m.
Last Chance Qualifiers @ approx. 4:00 p.m.
*Various Amateur Mains @ immediately after LCQ's
Pro Practice @ after daytime amateur mains
MAIN EVENT @ 7:30 p.m.
*TO ALLOW FOR A GREAT NIGHT TIME SHOW, WE RUN SOME AMATEUR MAINS DURING THE DAY. GENERALLY IF YOU RACE IN YOUR SKILL LEVEL CLASS AND AN OPEN CLASS, YOU WILL STILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO RACE DURING THE MAIN EVENT RACING AT NIGHT (DEPENDING ON YOUR CLASS SIZE AND IF YOU QUALIFY ONTO THE MAIN)......
ENTRY FEE'S:
Pre-Registration Entry Fee for Amateurs: $25 per class(+) a $15 pit pass
Post Entry Fee for Amateurs: $35 per class (+) a $15 pit pass
PRO ENTRY FEE: $35 (+) a $15 pit pass
PIT PASS: $15 until noon, @ NOON $20
Anyone wanting access into the facility during the day must purchase a pit pass. This is also your ticket to the main event. However, pit pass holders will not be allowed to sit in reserved seating sections, and will only be allowed in general admission seating. In some arena's, all seating is reserved seating and a special "racer" section of seating will be available. If you would rather have a reserved seat, you will either need to purchase a ticket in addition to the pit pass, or just purchase a ticket and enter the facility @ 6:30 p.m. or after, when the doors open for general spectators.
All racers must purchase a pit pass as well, this is part of your entry fee.
NOTICE....NOTICE...NOTICE...
Pit Passes will be $15 until noon. At Noon they increase to $20. This is to discourage the general public from purchasing a pit pass, which is cheaper than a general spectator ticket to the show. Pit passes are intended for racers and their families and support crew. Pro's will pay the increased pit pass price if arriving after noon, but will have their entry fee discounted by the $5 increase.
